Berkeley Telebears iPad App

Telebears is an app created for UC Berkeley students who are registered and ready for the fall or spring semester. The purpose of the app is to create a simple "shop and drop" experience for all students who are organizing their upcoming class schedule. "My Class Schedule" is a feature in the app that arranges the selected lectures, labs, sections, and/or studios into their corresponding time slots for the week. Push notifications can be enabled with various alerts to ensure that students never miss their Phase 1 or Phase 2 telebears appointment again. This concept was completed in May 2014.

  Screen 5 : Home Screen The Telebears home screen shows the selected "Department Name" filter from the left menu, which organizes classes alphabetically and displays which classes are currently selected on the bottom. Classes can also be searched via the search bar on the top right. The "Selected Classes" bottom panel allows the student to easily uncheck classes from their class schedule, while understanding the general time blocks for their lectures, sections, labs and/or studios.   The home menu on the left lets the student easily view their Class Schedule, sort through filters, adjust settings, and connect with their social networks. Turning on the Facebook switch can show which of the student's friends are signed up for certain classes. Connecting social calendars such as Google calendar can show other personal commitments or time blocks.
